Xavier L's Review CORNER

"Violent Night," starring David Harbour, is a gripping thriller released in 2022. The film excels in its intense performances, especially from Harbour, who delivers a compelling portrayal. The cinematography captures the suspense effectively, adding to the overall tension. However, the plot occasionally falters in its predictability, and some character development feels rushed. Despite these shortcomings, the film's strong points make it worth watching, especially for fans of suspenseful dramas.I would give it a solid 3.5 out of 5 stars. If you haven't watched it, it's a worthwhile choice for an engaging movie night. The release date was in June 2022.As for a rewatch in 2023, the film's intensity and twists make it a candidate for revisiting, providing a fresh perspective and catching details missed the first time. Additionally, "Violent Night" conveys a powerful anti-violence message, urging viewers to reflect on the consequences of aggression. In conclusion, "Violent Night" offers an engaging experience with strong performances, though it may not escape some clichés. It's a compelling choice for both first-time viewers and those considering a rewatch, with a timely reminder against the repercussions of violence.

Don't laugh and judge me !some of us still use DVD and watch movies  under the blanket  with a torch (in my case a fog light and some Phoenix  beers) at 2 a.m and don't wanna get caught
